and current Board member Vicki is practically a nipper herself
I've "liked" that sentiment Andy, but what's a "doffer"?
Cant see it improving crowds much, it didnt for vics so whats different for us?
Hope this is not the intended final place for us, too far out for a permanent home and if i wanted to watch a team at Barnton, well i could have watched the one they already have!
I am sorry but this feels like a step back than forward. Barntons ground isn’t as good as Winsford. The parking is a joke and because with my Aspergers I hate being crowded around and the stand there is way too small to not feel that. My daughter Temperance hates the Idea as her ballgirl duties she has done for the last few years will not be needed. I also takes longer to get to Barnton than Winsford.
Appreciate your concerns Trevor, but I am sure the club will find ways to reach out to you and accommodate your needs as much as possible. And I am sure there will still be ways for Temperance to play a part, including as a ballgirl. Can't imagine we'll fill all four sides with fans. Well, not in the first few weeks anyway.
Trev - let's have a chat at the next home game matey. My main problem is I can’t stand at games so restricted to the Stands which isn’t big at Barnton
On that point, are we realistically going to get anywhere closer to Northwich? I don't know of any land right near the town centre that we could realistically build a ground on. I might be wrong though. It's not uncommon for teams to play outside town centres these days.Hope this is not the intended final place for us, too far out for a permanent home and if i wanted to watch a team at Barnton, well i could have watched the one they already have!
Dont mind playing out of the area and probably expect the final stop to be just that.On that point, are we realistically going to get anywhere closer to Northwich? What i do consider realistic and hoped for as a final location is not playing on the doorstep of an already established team. Means we cant target the immediate fans in the area where we are playing (just like winsford!). And no matter how we help improve things Barnton is very limited.
Anyway, theres a lot to be cleared up and a long journey before we get to 'final' destinations.
Looking forward to the new challenge but given the lack of interest in non league football in general cant see much change...hope im wrong.
