NPL watch 22/23

Potentially a couple more bigger games to look forward to perhaps.
Bridge lost 4-2 so are relegated. Nantwich will join them if they lose against the same opponents on Thursday

Greg Hall & Dharius Waldron both featured heavily for Bridge, but not since late Feb.
Alfie Henderson made 3 appearances after Salford sent him there.

Where next for Greg🤔👀

Dabbers draw 2-2 with Marske tonight which means they live to fight on, hoping results go their way on Saturday.

Nantwich need a win against play-off chasing Radcliffe & for Bridge to beat Colls to stay-up

Nantwich are down despite beating Radcliffe as Colls drew at Bridge

GNE survive, for now, after winning at Bottle & Workington thrash Colne to relegate them instead.

Leek face Linnets & Wukkie host Clitheroe.
I think Linnets had their keeper sent off today as well.

Yes Edge, Danny Tabener ex Colls and Vics keeper sent off in the 91st minute at Trafford. That could be a hammer blow to their play off hopes.

Straight Red? Does it kick in immediately or first game of new season 🤔

Handball!
In the last minute of a meaningless game as well

Tabener was suspended for Linnets win at Leek last night.
I assume he'll be back for the play-off final at Workington on Saturday.

Widnes reprieve confirmed.

In other news, Glossop drawn at home to Ashington FC of the Northern League.

Skem also demoted due to failing to meet ground grading.

And Skem have been relegated back to the Counties after failing ground grading

And in the play-offs...

Glossop v Ashington
Lincoln United v Avro

And Skem have been relegated back to the Counties after failing ground grading
Out of curiosity - any worry about Townfield meeting ground grading? Has to be down there as one of the lesser grounds in the league with respect to Barnton and the work that has been done.

Widnes reprieve!!! Is that because of Skem? I think it was once said that ppg would save them.
2 sides failed ground grading - Skem & North Shields
Harlow Town resigned.

The 3 17th-placed sides with the best PPG survive.
Bideford, Carlton Town & Widnes were the 3.

And also 3 step 5 sides get promoted without a playoff
Bemerton Heath Harlequins, Badshot Lea & Rugby Town are the 3 coming up.

A shame for Skem, but it was always on the cards.

No, otherwise we'd have been relegated today!
