I think we've dealt with the ridiculous nature of statement #1.
Please tell us who has described 1874 Northwich as a "franchise", so that we can put that ludicrous statement to bed as well.

Someone who clearly either doesn’t know the definition of the word Franchise, or someone who doesn’t know who we are.

Rule 21(b) seems to contradict Rule 21(a)(i)

If it's deemed all ticketed is 225 enough?

I have never seen anyone stir this forum up as much as Sean Downey (who at least has the decency to post under his won name). You might think he supported another team in red and white stripes the way he has got things going.
Whatever happens it will be an interesting game, and if there are any problems for the police it is likely to come from the LTFC supporters - unless we gather some "glory hunters" there for the battle of course - there has never been any trouble at any of our games that I can recall. There will be a problem if they do make it all ticket with us restricted to 225 tickets as we will probably have more than that on the buses and then we have our southern support (other than those in Brussels of course) and those of us who prefer to travel by car.
On that score perhaps Sean or others from Leighton could tell us about car parking as that would appear to be problematic. The car park is not big and I doubt Morrisions want us parking there.
Finally for Sean's education there is another team in Northwich called Witton Albion who play in red and white stripes and over the past 125+ years a healthy rivalry grew between them and Vics. Some of this carried over to 1874 when we formed. They of course refer to us a pub team and hence our "Dog and Duck" flag which we did not take to Wolverhampton on Saturday, but don't be surprised if we sing to you about the Dog and Duck assuming we are winning of course (which none of us are taking for granted).
 
Interesting Tony! it could be or perhaps the poster has used his name? If it is one and the same we seem to have wound him up more than Streety.

I thought we’d get some off COLFC but most of their fans were too out of it to notice what was going on.

Unlikely Richard given that Luton host Cambridge on the 24th. Any of the Hatters fans genuinely interested in their club and watching a game will surely be headed there given the recent rivalry between the two clubs?

IF, as Sean alludes, the game is made all-ticket, I don’t see us being restricted to 225 tickets. Unless Leighton were sure with absolute certainty that they would make up the 1175 void?
 
If we are restricted to 225 tickets, I hope (not for my sake but for co-owners) that they get priority and its not on a first come first served basis.

I'm sure our club is on top of the situation but if it is ticketed with only 10 days to go it looks like Leighton are dragging their heels and not in a hurry to make a decision. More mind games?

Shall we simply wait for some actual official news on this (for a change ;) )?

Personally (ignoring my own sentence above) it sounds like an administrative nightmare just 10 days ahead of the game and I am sure there are a few groundhoppers out there who would not be too pleased.

I agree let's wait and see when/if the contradictory FA Vase Rule 21(b) is activated, 10 days and counting down.

Tez, mistaken identity. I meant Leighton Town not Luton Town! Had not thought about that at all!

Saw that, it's a bit misleading considering its their official Facebook page.
The only other way without buying a ticket is to get a complimentary ticket but it's still a ticket.
Do turnstile, bar/cafe, ground staff need tickets?
 
I am starting to panic over this ticket issue - it is 119 miles to Leighton from here and if I am going to drive there I need to be sure I can get in. I shall be checking here of course but I guess priority will go to the bus travellers
 
If they haven't already requested tickets under Rule 21(a)(i) the only other way is to request through the National Game Board under Rule 21(b).
So after Leighton Town FC have had time to discuss the issue, if ticketing is required how long will it take for them to get authority?
