No Manager worth his salt would’ve risked the well being of an already depleted squad if he had doubts about the safety and viability of playing the fixture.
Feel for Winsford though. It’s been a while since they’ve had any game at the BS and I can understand their keenness to get a game on; but that can’t be to the potential detriment of the 1874 players.
