After approx.. 1m turn left at traffic lights into Park Lane. After approx. ½ mile turn right at traffic lights into Bridle Road. Take 2nd left (at traffic lights) into Vesty Road. Ground is at the top of the road.
Parking facilities	Limited on ground. Street parking, watch for double yellow lines and in some of the local building car parks.

The performance for 75 minutes tonight was pretty much flawless in terms of an away performance at top of the league.

After that was anything but.

The first half was good as any we have played this season and Kenny and Evra were worrying them. Having said that Max made one cracking save and twice they swept down the left wing and sent in brilliant crosses which cried out for someone to put a finishing touch to them. Jim Simms goal was a cracker. We started the second in much the same matter and Kenny's goal was good.. Then Blake came on for Evra. We didn't seem to have the same verve. max got fouled and was down for a bit - did that affect him later? Then we just seemed to go to pieces. Not sure about the foul leading to their 3rd but it was a great free kick and after we made a quadruple substitution they got their 5th after a dreadful shirt pull on one of our players went unpunished but otherwise the ref was ok.
I am not euphoric but I think if we could play like that against everyone else we would be doing well. Also, Bootle have now played 10 won 10 and only conceded 7 goals, 3 of them tonight. I expected us to get beaten but we put up a good show until Evra went off.

Fully deserved the lead in what was a superb performance -
Defensively resolute and took their chances very well

The second goal (3-2) was huge as you could see momentum shift and Bootle started to create chances..

Think many would say put that level of performance in over the rest of the season and the results should look after themselves

Thought we did really well first half and was great to see us shoot on sight, second half after Yau went off our threat disappeared and there was only one side in it, hopefully we can bounce back at the weekend.

Well, where to even begin with that?

Scoreline doesn't reflect the game. I thought our 3rd would be the killer blow, but it seemed to galvanise them. I would say that at 4-3 down, 2 of their goals had blatant fouls for them winning possession in the build up. Then two in stoppage time when we overloaded to try and steal a point.

First half is the best half of football we've played in a long time.

If a team finishes above Bootle this season, then they will win the league.

Wasn’t at the game, but 5 goals in 15 minutes sounds crazy.

Doesnt matter how well you play, no hope of winning when that happens.

I do think this team has potential to be really competitive, but we really need to start picking up points now or we could be in trouble.

Well we really didn't deserve that result. But like Rory said to us as he went off. We must learn how to deal with set pieces against us. Until we do were always vulnerable.

Felt for Max at the end. He made some outstanding saves and was left so exposed for the last two. He really got clattered at 3-3 I think and was definitely being targeted by them.

Agree with what's been said. First half we were outstanding going forward but Max made 3 crucial saves also. Bootle were so quick but we seemed to get a foot in when it mattered.

In Dreamland when Kenny scored to make it 3-1 and looked at the clock! Surely we could last 15 mins? Evra going off was a big blow as Blake never really seemed to get into the game and our shape went to pot. Again didn't really understand the subs but who'd be a manager? As soon as they scored their third the writing was on the wall.

Another hard game on Saturday but if we can play like that first half and deal with long throws and corners we'll be fine! See everyone there.

Wasn't at the game so can't comment on performance but I'm finding it hard to share the same optimism as others are tbh, to lose that game from 3-1 up with 15 mins to play isn't acceptable and to concede 5 in 15 mins is a joke I don't care who it's against, it proves to me what I already knew that we have some talented attacking players as not many teams will go to Bootle and score 3 but defensively we are a complete shambles and I don't know how we're going to sort it when we can't even get the basics right, then on top of that we're also conceding stupid goals where the ball takes numerous deflections off our own players, it needs sorting asap or we're in trouble unfortunately

We had a monumental rebuilding task over the Summer, and it was never going to be easy.

People not at the game wouldn't have seen how great we played for the first 75 minutes. We just ran out of steam and their bench made an impact.

The overall result was disappointing, but it wasn't reflective of the overall match. Two of the goals were conceded when we'd overloaded in attack to try and snatch a point back.
Bootle are top of the league, and have played 10 won 10 for a reason. They're by far and away the best team we have played this season.

The past 4 games have given me confidence that we can put a run together and start moving in the right direction.

4 points from the next 2 games, and the table will have a completely different outlook.

Not sure what some fans expect at times. Complete rebuild from last season with only Niall Osbourne regular starter from last season's promoted side . A few weeks ago we were bemoaning lack of attacking ideas and wondering where the next goal was coming from but we were in games by solid defending. So Rory and his very capable committed team shake things up a bit and score 2-2-2-3 in last 4 games without picking up the rewards ( yet)... Unfortunately some cant take any positives out of this but the last thing the lads, the management , the fabulous volunteers, the fans need is negativity - we are supposed to be the 12th man after all , how well has the 12th man actually played this season ?!
Bootle's budget is 3 times ours, we knew it was never going to be easy and posting negative sh$te, being quick to criticise decisions even calling out individuals on occasions strangely doesn't help .
I appreciate we all care and get frustrated ,that this is a Fans Forum and our time to play Premier League manager, Monday Night Football analyst, even rue how the dream never materialised how we never really played at any level let alone Step4 of the pyramid , all that stuff we are fed constantly by the media everyday ,but lets just be realists with a sense of balance and focus on sticking together positively.
Apparently even VM should have got something v Shifnal in mid week , managers done one, budget constraints etc so good luck to the lads today .Stay safe and hopefully come home smiling.

I don't think it's negative to point out that we should be winning games from 3-1 up with 15 mins to play regardless of who we're playing against tbh it comes down to playing with basic common sense and professionalism, it's also not negative to say that whilst we are scoring goals we're incapable of not conceding as well, it's also not negative to point out that if it doesn't change quickly we're going to be in trouble, this is just realism imo
