I was wrong.
Scotland actually overachieved
Their FIFA ranking is 40 & they finished 35

Given the population of Scotland and the resources we have at our disposal, 40th in the rankings is bloody good.

I mean we’re qualified for the last two major finals yet the likes of Italy, Greece, Poland, Romania, Hungary, Czechia, Sweden, Serbia and Bulgaria haven’t.
