Wythenshawe Town have appealed the decision and I don't blame them.

Why didn't NWCL call the game off before it was played. They must have known that Winsford hadn't paid their debts to Cheshire FA. It's a mess.

To be fair though, it wouldn’t be the first time there was miscommunication between leagues, clubs and FA bodies though?
The decision to replay the game does seem a bit odd. If Winsford fielded an unregistered or banned player, knowingly or not, they would bear the brunt of the punishment and their opposition gain nothing. Here, Winsford may get fined and points deducted, but they will collect gate money a second time, have the opportunity to win three points again, as do Vauxhall.
