1874 and Barnton FC are looking to hold a joint working party on Sunday morning, starting at 10am for up to a couple of hours. They are seeking volunteers to carry out root zone & seeding on small areas across the pitch. This is the best time to do the work, as the pitch will then have a 10 day rest period.
Groundsman Mark, along with other volunteers, have worked hard on the pitch, facing extra difficulties because of the hot weather. Sunday's work will be another valuable step to providing both teams with a quality surface, so it is hoped a few people will come along.
If you can support by giving a little time on Sunday morning to help with the seeding, it would be massively appreciated.
