I would imagine Widnes is fairly costly, not to say prohibitive for such matches, but it does underline the relative urgency of remedial work on the BS pitch.

Incidentally, what is the cost to the club of a same-day postponement like this?

Look on the bright side - we seem to play better away from home.

Widnes probably will be costly but the way it's going we could still be playing this seasons game next season

Steady on Josh, we've only lost a couple of games due to weather this season. Sure we'll lose a few more, but I don't think Widnes is the answer. I think last year was bad for everyone, we had 3 months of home AND away being called off.
