Yeh, he wanted to play in the league above, so he moved on. Then we got promoted anyway so I didn't think it would take long.
 
Phil - has been a physio for many years. He was with Vics in the late 1990's / 200o's I remember.
 
Phil Lea is an absolute Northwich legend. He has chosen to support 1874, so for someone who commands so much respect and standing in footballing circles to make that decision, tells me that we did the right thing.

It was a pleasure to ask him to register for our Club, to enable him to stand in the technical area. What a top bloke to cover for Lee Wilk hey?!! And when he's not 'on duty', he's getting behind the lads from the terraces.

The big reason why our Club is so great, it's the people that make it.
 
Top bloke is Phil. Think he used to coach Hartford when I played. Got to know him when we both started as postmen many moons ago. He even offered me a lift to the training in Crewe :)
