Goals in the 88th and 92nd minutes for us? Carried on right to the end and got the just reward. Poor liner on the dug out side.

Football card Fulham claimed. Golden goal (scored by jack Irlam) 16 minutes and claimed. 50/50 £50 62585 claimed.. Crowd 298.
 
Poor liner on the popular side as well. Mind you the referee was not up to much either.
Didn’t play too bad but feel we are still not creating enough.

Other than that I'm not sure how to summarise that game

All the same problems but kept plugging away and two great strikes gets us a point

Not sure why Bridge did that offside corner routine when 2-1 up but glad they did
 
Poor liners and poor reffing. But what a feeling to walk away with a point which feels like a win! This is the first time that we have came back from being down and it was our turn to do that in the closing minutes. They didnt give up!

Need to be more vocal on the pitch with one another. Take their time, think and communicate.

Gotta love them 💚

Onto Saturday we go with positivity and hopefully the point tonight has given them a mental boost that we can do it!
 
Lots to digest tonight. I think going into the game, I’d have taken a point so no argument on the outcome… there were positives tonight - Kenny was excellent all game & Simms took both goals excellently, especially the lob.

However, the penalty was a really silly foul to concede and put us on the back foot early doors.

Niall playing at left back really hinders us, no way a negative on him, as he always gives hi all. But we desperately need to get a natural left back in to cover that area and push him back to that right hand side where he’s most effective as we miss him on the right.

N. Fallon doesn’t cut it for me at this level thus far. Wasteful in possession & regularly looks out of his depth. Unless he turns it around quickly and proves me wrong, we’ll struggle to stay in the league with him being one of our starting CBs. We looked much more solid at the back when he went off with Simon dropping there.

Positional shape & organisation was completely woeful in the final third. I think Farmer thought he was playing left wing tonight alongside Kenny - very frustrating and completely baffling to see, as it really is footballing basics. Left us constantly exposed on the right and we offered zero threat down the right because of it.

It was a breath of fresh air to see Crane come on and actually play right wing and stick to the position…

When we play a ball to Spinelli, there is nobody making any form of effort to support should he bring it down or knock it on for any runners - if we’re not going to play to his strengths then what’s the point in playing him as our focal point in attack?..

When Evra and Crane came on I feel between them both, Kenny and Simms we finally had a structure and basis to finally drive at Staly, and it worked - shows how simple and effective it can and should be!

But let’s be honest taking the late goals out of the equation we were poor again for the large parts of the game. We take the point and hopefully can use it to build on to get that much needed 3 points!!

I don’t think we are far off being a really competitive team. One or two additions, particularly in midfield I think could see us go on a good run up the table.

Completely agree Andy. Thought that there were many good performances out there last night.

And no-one seems to have mentioned yet that we were playing a side who finished 3rd last season. We’re not playing the likes of Dudley, Stone, Whitchurch et al this season.
 
Don't know if our management team read this or not. I know we have some key players currently out injured. However, one of our "star players" is Niall. He is a right back (No 2). It is essential that "star players" play in their "best positions'.

Surely we have a left sided player from the recently announced "updated squad" that can play a few matches at left back until either Coleman or Clarke are back?

Leave players in their best positions, where they are likely to be more effective! Don't restrict them!

Clarke and Coleman aren't going to be returning anytime soon. Clarke has done his ACL again.

The back four is an area in which I expected us to bring in reinforcements quickly to mitigate the issue of injuries and suspensions, but we've instead focused on bringing in midfielders.

The stats speak for themselves - we're still shipping too many goals, and ultimately can't continue to rely on an on loan striker digging us out of the sh*t! If Simms maintains his scoring form then he may well be recalled by his parent club.

Time for others to step up and use last night's late turnaround as a springboard, starting this weekend against Padiham.

I do think Mitchell & Fallon are too similar and we need to play one of them, not both.

keV holds the ball up well but we don't have runners from midfield to help him. Evra looks a better starter for me but not sure how fit he is

Coleman has been out for 7 weeks or so. He might be getting closer but I don't know anything concrete

Clarke has done his ACL in so will be out for weeks, if not months. Elliot did suffered a broken collarbone on August Bank Holiday Monday and at the time it was forecast that he’d be out for a minicamp of six weeks. Even when he’s ready to start training he’ll be far from match fit.

John McGrath has played at left back on several of but he’s currently also out injured 😡😧

I agree completely agree with you re Niall but given the circumstances we may well have to continue putting square pegs into round holes.

Not ideal but that’s just how it goes sometimes.

But I thought that Mike Ibeto played very well at RB last night
 
Wasn't at the game but fair play to the lads for sticking at it and getting the point, from what I've seen so far this season I think that we have some talented players but are also short of a bit of physicality particularly in midfield and are conceding too many silly goals from set pieces that should be easily prevented, one of the things that is obvious to me is that we have a number of players who all seem comfortable in the central areas of the pitch particularly in the number 10 position but there's only really Farmer (and McGrath when back) who plays like an actual winger so that makes our attacks disjointed because you have a number of players all trying to do the same thing, bringing in Simms does seem to have given us that out and out number 9 goalscorer that we needed but as has been mentioned it's a shame that's its only a loan as he'll likely be recalled if he keeps scoring
