Possible Idea

Phil I was thinking about that myself after reading the Dulwich thread,and I'm sure the club and supporters would be very supportive of such a good cause.
 
Phil,
This is one item on my list.
Would members like me to make an initial contact and see what we can arrange?
Maybe a collection point on matchdays?
Do you think we would get support, I would not like to raise hopes in vain.
Feedback appreciated.
 
If it is publicised well (Website, forum, programme, Newsletter, word of mouth etc) then I am sure that it would do well and provide help to those in need. We may have to try and arrange other drop off points as well as the Barton Stadium on match days though?
 
I was thinking of a one off event using a match later in the season as a focal point. I think the Trussell Trust would be a good partner to support a Northwich foodbank. I know they partner with Waitrose so perhaps we could talk with them regarding some sort of tie in? Publicity is the key and we have plenty of options for this. I know TT will support with details of what they need and we can hand these out well in advance. Steve - its a conversation when you have a minute.
 
Why not get in touch with other Mid Cheshire Football Clubs and arrange a joint effort?
