I notice that Morpeth's home quarter final tie in the FA Vase against Bristol Manor Farm was postponed on Saturday and has been rearranged for next Saturday.
I don't know the circumstances behind it and obviously Bristol Manor Farm is further south than ourselves, but seems strange we weren't afforded the same courtesy.
Does anyone know the reasoning behind it?

Certainly less regional I'd say.

Yes, definitively - the rules on the FA website make it clear that in the early rounds midweek replays are required (except in exceptional circumstances) but in later rounds, when the draw goes national, they concede that Saturday replays are more practicable.
