Wasn't aware that AFC Blackpool and Squires Gate are so close to eachother (just a couple of hundred yards apart, separated by a B road).
 
Blackpool Wren Rovers & Fleetwood Towns reserve stadium all next door too. Four floodlight grounds all within a stones throw of each other.
 
Great pub near Squires Gate and AFC Blackpool called the Shovels too
 
Tell me about it!! Was in there until 8.00pm when the bus broke down last year at Squires Gate!

Needed to get back for the race night as well!
 
Am I right in thinking that the landlord said he would sponsor an 1874 match? I couldn't go back to the pub after the game as I had to travel back with our manager to discuss the game!! Ha ha!
 
Yes he did , he'll be gutted were going back twice this year. Having said that his trade will certainly increase again.
