As we haven't got a game today, been watching the Conference game on BT. One thing that has struck me is the state of the pitch at the Shay. Bloody awful! More brown than green. Is this because of the rugby team I wonder?

Always had trouble with it Chris remember last time was there and was talking to groundsman he said when he cuts it short for footy(leaves it longer for rugby) and rugby plays on it couple days later it cuts up.

Went to watch Wealdstone beat Margate 4-1 yesterday. A good game where Margate didn't really come out after the break. A certain Mr Steve King not too far away from us in the stand. Perhaps he's after another job but would have to have a good expenses budget.
