I know this isn't a league game but it does potentially hold implications, ie if the game goes to extra time and if Formby lose. il be keeping an eye on the scores but what result do we think would best suit northwich?

Hard to say as to what result would Northwich best. It can be looked at different ways, a defeat would mean they will've lost 2 on the bounce, but at the same time, a defeat could mean they'll want to make an impact in the next game. A win meanwhile could help us in the fact that they maybe still have the cup win on their minds when it comes to playing us, but obviously a win is good for morale. The one thing I know that will suit Northwich is if the game goes into extra time.

Formby's squad which faced Rochdale Town last time out:
O'Connell, Brislen, Swatton, Turner, White (C), Smith, Sherlock, Speedy, Carey, Kirby, Adegbenro. Subs: Rendell, Forsyth, Gibson, Cowderoy.

Formby's squad for tonight's cup final and with Saturday's massive match against us just around the corner:
O'Connell, Turner, Swatton, Molyneux, White (C), Brislen, Kirby, Speedy, Sherlock, Smith, Adegbenro. Subs: Carey, Rendell, Gibson, Simpson.

Interesting to see that they've picked almost their strongest XI tonight, whilst Jason Carey (their top scorer) was left on the bench. He was brought on at half time for Speedy.

Still hoping this goes the distance. Half an hour remaining - Formby have just forced a flying save from the Hanley 'keeper which has resulted in a corner...
