1874 has been asked to help communicate the following important message.

NHS Blood & Transplant will be holding several blood donation sessions at Barnton Memorial Hall and Weaverham Community Centre throughout November and December as follows:

Barnton Memorial Hall – 15 & 29 November. 3,17,24 & 31 December
Weaverham Community Centre – 20 December 2015

As the winter draws in, there tends to be a fall in appointments, due to bugs, poor weather and the festive season. This leaves a shortage of blood stocks for our hospitals.

NHS Blood & Transport needs your help to encourage people in our local community to make an appointment (and keep it) as we enter the winter season.

Please do share the details of the blood donation sessions with friends and family to boost appointments and vital stocks. Every unit of blood can save up to 3 lives; so do something amazing and save lives.

Folks

We've had another email from the brilliant people at the Blood Service, asking for our support:

NHS Blood & Transplant will be holding blood donation sessions throughout Cheshire this December.

As the winter draws in, we tend to find that due to bugs, poor weather and the festive season - we experience a fall in appointments - therefore leaving a shortage of blood stocks for our hospitals.

We need your help to encourage people in our local community to make an appointment (and keep it) as we enter the winter season.

Please help to boost appointments at these blood donation sessions

* Barnton Memorial Hall - 17 December
* Weaverham Community Centre - 20 December
* Barnton Memorial Hall - 24 December
* Middlewich Town Hall - 30 December
* Barnton Memorial Hall - 31 December
* Nantwich Civic Hall - 4 January

You can make an appointment at

Thank you!

NHS Blood & Transplant will be holding a blood donation session at
Northwich Memorial Hall on Saturday 26 March

We have been advised that there are lots of empty appointments at present.

Every unit of blood can save up to 3 lives; so it would be fantastic if you can help to make that happen.
