City of Liverpool FC today won the Division 1 play off final 3-0 in front of an impressive crowd of 1300.

Looking forward to playing them next season.

Why were City of Liverpool formed doesn't anybody know plenty teams in Merseyside already not looking forward to playing them really much rather of had Sandbach or Whitchurch

Plenty of background info on t'interweb. They reckon to have around 1300 fan-owners. Quite a way behind the 4000 FCUM say they have, but still a sizeable number.

This page on the various stages in their process of looking for, finding and building a ground makes interesting reading to other clubs in a similar situation ...

Well their fans haven't exactly covered their new club with glory tonight. Violence at the Macron Cup Final after Barlicks 86 minute equaliser to the extent that BBC Lancs had to stop their broadcast. Maybe we will need the old Bill at our game next season?

Don't want any of that business in the NWCFL. Hopefully the club of COLFC act appropriately.

Crowd trouble when things go against them and two sent off!!
Sounds like a lack of discipline all around!?
Happy days ahead!! Looking forward to those meetings!

Both sets of fans blaming each other for the trouble on social media.

Not noticed this club at all, are they disenfranchised Liverpool fans? I thought that's what AFC Liverpool was about, looking at their website they will comfortably get the biggest gates in our league

One of the Barlick players:

No shortage of "debate" on the subject on the NWCFL Facebook Page.

See a certain Ryan Mitchell scored their first goal today.
And Karl Noon, recently with Wi**on scored two others.
Hard to see them not being in the top two when they are signing players proven in higher leagues.

CoL lost at the death tonight in the FA Cup to Nantwich. They certainly had the majority of the game and didn't deserve to lose but you have to take your chances and they didn't. They scored a peach of a free kick from the full back and lost cruelly to a deflected goal in the 95th minute. No more money for them from the FA Cup.

Third time I have seen them now this season and they are very fast going forward but vulnerable in defence. But you have to remember you are playing the crowd as well! Glad our home game is a Tuesday night.

Crowd was 1024 with around 30-40 from Nantwich
