On Thursday 14th April, Robert Edwin (Bob) Whitby passed away in The Grange Nursing Home, Winsford.
Bob., 80 Years Old, was the most Senior Football Administer in the Mid-Cheshire Area. His Service to Football was as follows :- A past Secretary of the Davenham Football Club, Past Secretary and Chairman of The Central Cheshire Football League, Past President of The Mid-Cheshire Football Association, A Member of the Cheshire County Football Association since 1973 and The Longest Serving Life Member of The Cheshire County Football Association.
The Funeral has been arranged to take place at The Vale Royal Crematorium, off The Northwich Bye-pass at Rudheath, at 10-45am., on Monday 25th April. Peter Forshaw is the Funeral Director, 01270 762230 / 01606 836708.
