1874 Announce the 2019 Beer Festival and Attila The Stockbroker Gig
The 1874 Northwich Beer Festival Committee are pleased to announce that this year’s beer festival will return to Davenham Cricket Club running for two nights on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 October.
We will have an array of fine real ales and ciders on offer.
Tickets will be on sale from June and are priced at £5, sponsorship of barrels will be at a cost of £95.
Anyone wishing to sponsor a barrel or provide raffle prizes please contact either Andy Perry or Alex Dickinson
As a pre cursor to the Beer fest we are also pleased to announce that friend of the club Attila The Stockbroker will be appearing at The Salty Dog, in Northwich the night before the fest, Thursday 10 October. Attila has kindly agreed to donate half the ticket sales to the club. Attila’s links to the club go as far back as to when he attended the inaugural meeting of the football club with his Hartford born wife Robina. A keen Brighton and Hove Albion supporter he was at the heart of a 15 year campaign to save his beloved club. He has done every Glastonbury Festival since 1983 and organizes his own beer/music extravaganza, Glastonwick, in his native West Sussex. You will be in for a treat with Attila’s unique brand of poetry taken from his 9th book of poems entitled “Undaunted”. There might be some music thrown in as well.

Exclusive sponsorship of the gig is available at a cost of £250 which will include 4 tickets to both the gig and 4 tickets for the beer festival for either the Friday or Saturday night, a few beer tokens and we may even throw in a few pies as well.
