I have been given an idea by one of our members to run a football pontoon game of 21 goals or bust .
The idea to run a Premiership and Championship game total of 44 teams.
Objectives to be the first team to score 21 goals in each division . If you bust you are out of the round . ( League games only)

If everyone busts ,club wins it all.

If two or more teams win the winning pot is divided .

If the season ends without a winner the club wins .

Adjudicator will be myself and I will publish updates to the group(s) playing

Entry will be £10.00 per player £5.00 shared prize pot with 1874 so
£100 winner premiership & £120 winner championship .

Pontoon in it's last furlong here with Bootle only needing 1 goal to take the title , however they don't play until next Tuesday.
Witton need 3 goals from Saturdays game versus Congleton and Newcastle need 2 more goals when they entertain Stafford Rangers .
Should all these results come in then Bootle & Newcastle potentially would share the prize draw based on the amount of games played .

Don't write off Hanley &Stafford who need 4 goals each from their next games too and Lower Breck who have only played 5 games this season but will need to score 14 goals in the next 3 league games ...

This first round of pontoon will soon finish ( in my opinion) so who wants to return for the next round and new players wanting to play ...

I think you should gamble with offering Shuffy £100 for Bootle . That way you and him win unless they bust!

What did i say about Lower Breck who smashed the Colls last night for 6 .
Shifnal also now in the running adding a further 3 to their tally.
On a knife edge this with plenty of runners still in the mix..
