Twitter in utter melt down congratulating them including BBC Sport if only people knew we need get the message out there and promoted our club even more now..

Entry into FA Competitions should be on proof of income, financial stability and sustainability to prevent clubs from buying success and denying well run clubs the opportunity of a deserved Cup run.

There's no pride in buying Cup runs or league titles with debt.

I agree, we need to be telling the media their history and how they still haven't learnt.

At the risk of sounding harsh, it is little use saying on here "if only people knew". There are enough folk in mid-Cheshire who don't, let alone in the rest of the UK.

To add to the usual places for spreading the word ...

I will, as always, make my own modest contribution, but strength comes in numbers.

A lot of glory supporters went tonight too, we'll that 3 times that to Morpeth which is further and harder to get to, proud to be 1874 and have such an incredible fan base...just stick with us, we will get there eventually!:scarf:

With 1874 we will have a long sustainable future which one day we will proudly stand on our own terraces watching the 74, until then, resist the short term option, as good as they may seem, we all know how it ends up...

Just so you can see the views of Northampton fans on the situation at V*cs and the next round of the FA Cup. The reputation of Northwich V*ctoria is making its way around the football community...

...and the phoenix that has risen is also becoming acknowledged by their fans! :scarf:

There is also MOTD, for those who really want to.

Love this comment from a Cobblers fan after someone filled them in on a bit of the 1874 v JRFC background ...

As a mark of respect we'll score in the 18th and 74th minutes for you.

We can but dream.

I see that Colin has posted on the JRFC Forum that the Cobblers may go under before JRFC play them and therefore JRFC will get a bye LOL.

Nice! I hope that some of the Cobblers fans see that.

Come on, the Cobblers!!

Im not on Twitter, can people tweet bbc sport and football focus and tell them. They need to be asked live on tv how they are financing this team if they feature on any of these programmes. One thing that is for sure, it won't be the club that sees the money from this run.

It's interesting that JRFC doesn't dominate the back of the guardian. Surely in days gone by this cup run would have featured on the front page. Well done to Andy Simpson for seeing through it all and treating it for what it is.

I think that Andy Simpson is just reflecting the amount of interest shown by the attendances to the respective local clubs.

I am sure to Colin and JR it will be part of a dastardly plot.

Wage bill for this lot must a close to £5,000/week.

Plus rent to Witton of £1,300/match, JRFC expenses could be as much as £25,000/month, over a 9 month footballing season thats £225,000.
