World Cup fever

So Eng-er-land are off to Brazil. Does anyone know when the tournament will take place? Might it be that we take a match in at the Beer Festival??

We don't yet know the England fixtures for the World cup in Brazil, next summer, but wouldn't it be good if we could hire a large screen to watch the games at the Lostock club? Perhaps we could make the World Cup a club social event in the summer?

Vicki, Saturday 14th is the one day when there are 4 group stage matches. First game ko 5pm BST (Group C), then 8pm (Group D) then 11pm (Group C) with a 2am kick off time for another group D game. I suspect that you might just make it to the 11pm before succumbing to all that moonshine you will no doubt be consuming. We will certainly look at the prospect of arranging a big screen as we did do back when we held the 2nd fest at the VS and England played USA.
