Let's hope that this, allied to the court hearing on Monday, proves to be the point at which the fans of 'The Bulls' can start to get their club under the control of those who only have the best long-term interests of the club at heart - its supporters!

Have to say though, the bunch of crooks, chancers, shysters and con-men who took over there make 'The Walrus' and Rushe look like toy-town villains.

Reaffirming my unswerving faith in the ways the FA governs the game in this country.

Just been announced that Hereford have been wound up. Let's hope that's a signal for a fresh start at last

A bit more background for those who are unaware of the "who's who" ...

No doubt like many posters on this forum, the end of one of the iconic non-league clubs of all time will be a very sad occasion.

Anyone of my age or around will only be too aware of the part that Hereford played in the 1970's in creating the fabulous tradition and history of he FA Cup and the part that non-league clubs have played in this.

Ronnie Radford's goal still makes the hairs on my neck stand on end every time I see it - and this is 40 years after the event!

But as we know - as do the fans of Chester, Rushden, Runcorn, Scarborough, Enfield, Darlington, Newport, Merthyr, Maidstone and many, many more - the darkest hour comes before the dawn.

I predict that in a couple of years time that the 'new' Bulls will be in rude good health and that their fans will realise that running their own, democratic, open and transparent fans-run club is bloody hard work at times, it is also a great deal of fun and bloody rewarding!
