This morning, I received a really nice email from Ashton Town's Secretary
Just a word of thanks to your great supporters, as you indicated with it being short notice not as many as hoped could make it on this late arranged FREE friendly, those supporters that attended were generous and helped towards not only our costs for holding the match but also a little extra also which was greatly appreciated.
Your supporters also contributed to a great small crowd experience with plenty of oh's and ah's and chanting.
Also when we went round with a raffle I got one of your guys to pick out the winning ticket and he pulled out his own ticket, you just can't write that kind of thing!!!
A good work out for both teams in a match condition and great supporters made the night also, please pass on our thanks they are welcome anytime.
