Sad loss and no age at all. Condolences to his family and friends.
 
One of the greats from the Cheshire Non-League scene. Very sad news, for his family and his Linnets family
 
This is really sad and I feel for his family and friends who have been robbed of his life at such an early age.

Was never the most elegant of footballers, but along with the likes of 'Spike' Carter, John Carroll was one of the main reasons why trips to Canal Street during the early part of the 1990's were miserable events for most Vics fans....

Rest in peace Big Man.

The Heaven XI has just got one hell of a centre-half....
