Pre-season - Altrincham Reserves

First pre-season match. It's nice to be able to watch some football again.

Game is definitely on by the way, we are on a 3G pitch and it is at Egerton, for anyone that's going, just bring an umbrella with you! It's July and we're already saying game on!

Good workout for the lads and it's encouraging to see them score 3 goals against a defensively set up side.

Some of the new players looked very good, Matt Russell at left back and Mark Jones in midfield, in particular.

Wouldn't read to much into friendlies just to get players working on there fitness ready for the upcoming season

Our squad for this up coming season is very exciting, Altrincham were very defensive and we had to work hard to break down the wall they had in their half

Thought all the lads showed a bit of rustiness but had a lot more signs of ability!

What a 'crowd' for a pre-season friendly! Bet it would have beaten some 'local' clubs' league attendances! Nice to see some GNE attendees, also.
