Other than the famous Hereford commentary, my best memory of Motty was when he was doing a pre-match piece on a FA Cup tie at Wycombe - there was blizzard 🌨 ️ in full swing, but ever the professional, there he was, snuggled up in his famous skin coat braving the elements until he’d completed his preview of a match that never had an earthlies of going ahead.
