The publication that gave the ordinary fan the belief that they could and should have a say in how football was managed and spawned the counter-culture revolution in football in the late '80's that lead to, among dozens of others, both the Vics and Witton Fanzines (Resign Roberts - Re-sign and Bishop 3-1). It also played a major role in the eventual formation of Supporters Direct and the birth of fans-run club such as our own. And a mention in passing too to our very own elder statesman Pete Garratt who along with Rogan Taylor helped to form the FSA which, as mentioned earlier, was the predecessor to SD. tribute is also made to Brian Lomax who played a key role in setting up the first fans run club at Northampton Town but sadly died in late 2015. Oh, and it was also at times side-splittingly and belly-achingly bloody funny, wonderfully ironic, sarcastic, ground-breaking, revolutionary, thought provoking and always relevant.
