Colls, the Vase and trips up North

Surprised no-one has posted about the latest Northern league fun & games.

Colls game postponed on Saturday, rearranged for yesterday, snowed off again.
They agreed with Newton Aycliffe to play it on Saturday but the Northern league vetoed it due to fixture congestion.
Colls now have to go back up there next Tuesday.

In other news, for the second successive season only mid-table Bishop Auckland have applied to be promoted.

Just think about Runcorn Town last night. Got back at 3.00am!

Held the cup holders, North Shields, to a draw after extra time and the replay is at Runcorn on Monday. See how they like it!! Hope it goes to penalties!!
