I tend to agree. Midweek games are very often less well supported at non-league level (unless it's a big game). Given it's Witton's first Saturday home fixture and a Bank Holiday into the bargain, I'd expect to read about a better gate at WP. Hopefully we can expect a similar crowd to last Saturday too?

As an aside, I'd anticipate the Alb's game with Barwell to be a feisty, niggly affair if my previous experience is any pointer; their opposition is not known for being shrinking violets!! I would be very surprised if it finishes 11 v 11 or there isn't a story or two to be reported by the Guardian about the game; though obviously we'll all be at the Barton Stadium at the time )
