A game too far, lots of effort but just didn't have the legs tonight. Officials were poor with some strange decisions for both teams...

Was always going to be a tough ask but well done to the lads for giving everything playing twice in 24hrs obviously not easy by all means but give credit where it's due here they are all a huge credit to this football club

Always going to be a tall order to play 2 games in as many days and win both, but in the grand scheme of things, tonight's game was the less important of the two to us and we shouldn't lose too much sleep over it.

The lads give it there all and deserve massive amounts of respect for playing such a big game yesterday in testing conditions to then turn up tonight and go again vs a team fighting for their lives!

So yes, with nothing to play for in the league pretty good at this time of year and a third game in three days!

Lads are knackered and could really have done with a day's break in between games. Or for their employers to let them stay in bed today!! But massive credit to the boys, they give every effort and it just wasn't to be tonight.
