26/27 Squad

[Edge]

I've just seen this on our socials...

Tonight we will bring you

of Rory Fallon’s squad.

I guess that it's either a goalkeeper or 5 players

[danebanker]

Or a handful ?

[Stephen Allen-Gurr]

Just some players really.

[Tez]

Maybe the palm emoji is a “wait for it …. “ to build up the drama …… So it might be five or more ….. or less than five

At least this’ll start the metaphorical ball rolling

[Knapps62]

Mark Jones & Matt Woolley commit to 1874.

[Stephen Allen-Gurr]

No surprise there then

[Nicki]

And Niall

[Ben]

Huge for Niall to stay. Been one of our most consistent players the past two seasons.

[Edge]

And Tom Mitchell!

[Ben]

Jack Woolley also staying.

Positive to see the squad starting to come together and Niall and Mitchell in particular are very good retentions.

More good news to come I’m sure.

[Knapps62]

Anyone know if Craig Pritchard is staying with us?.

[Knapps62]

Rob Hopley & John McGarth staying with '74.

[Ben]

Mike Hayes has signed for Bala.

[Stephen Allen-Gurr]

Mike Hayes has signed for Bala.

Bummer !!!!!! but not surprisingly gone back into Welsh football

[Nicki]

You can read all about it here: Enw cyfarwydd gyda llygad profedig am sgorio gôl. Mae Mike Hayes yn ôl yn y Dref!

[James Wood]

Mike Hayes has signed for Bala.

At least he’s not signed for Vauxhall’s!’

[Nicki]

At least he’s not signed for Vauxhall’s!’

With Kevin Ellison also there they’d have had the oldest forward line around if he had done.

[Edge]

Taylor Kennerley has returned

[Tez]

Centre back in place - Niall Fallon

[Graham Spencer]

Not convinced about Taylor coming back, was only at Sandbach last year so a big move up.
If he gets his head down and works hard, maybe he’s a squad player, but has let us down before.
Let’s give him a chance
