Positive start that ?? Obviously, everything in context, only a preseason friendly. Look forward now to posts from those who made the trip over the border as to how everyone (particularly the new additions and ‘21’s) performed today.

Ok, so let’s put it in context first.

First PSF against a side of Unknown quality. So way, way too early to draw any meaningful conclusions.

But having said that we looked, sharp, incisive and threatening in the first half. It really ought to have been 5 or 6 at the break.

In particular Ash Woods looks lean and sharp, Joe Woolley likewise. They were chasing shadows at times.

Second half was - as is often the case in such matches when multiple changes are made - a little more disjointed.

Even so, we still looked solid and I organised across the park and, as ever, Jamie Reed put in a proper shift!??

Great to see Jack Marrow back after his injury plagued season last year and the lad Issac up top who scored the 4th.

All in all a good 90 and an excellent start to the PS campaign ??
