Aaron Smith

Difficult to choose the best three for the middle of the park. My stab would Okome, Smith and Parker with Jonah dropping to CB.
 
Jonah and Jacko have looked good in the friendlies at CB, but Jonah is banned for the first 2 games.
 
With Tony not being here for the first two games as well will mean two big players are missing for both games.
 
Looks like Aaron might be joining Ashton United. Played for them a couple of times in the week
 
Very disappointing after the announcement that he was going to be staying with us, understandable though that he would take the opportunity (if he actually officially does) to play at a higher level as he is too good for the NWCFL
 
I believe he's just been training with them and got some minutes under his belt to aid his match fitness. He's a Manchester lad, so it makes sense geographically.

We retain his NWCFL registration, so he'll still be available to us on dual reg terms (we've actually had a few players on dual reg with Evo-Stik NPL clubs in the past).

Fortunately, in the area of the field that Aaron typically occupies we are blessed with several quality players. There's no doubting that he is a technically gifted footballer who deserves to be playing at a higher level week in week out, but if he was solely our player who would you even drop at the moment to make way for him? ????
