It's nick name sounds like it has something to do with fishing but it doesn't. :)

Penrhyn Arms or Brass Rods which was my old watering hole before going to the Morgue. Me and me mate once took the landlord and barman on at darts for a pint - double or quits. Ended up owing them 32 pints each - good job they let us off with a pint.

It's one of them which one?it was known by two other names what were they.does anyone know them.

The nick name was the Brass Rods,it was known by two other names they were River Weaver Inn and Weaver Vaults. It closed in August 1965.
The reason it got the nick name was because there were two brass tubes which were placed at shoulder height in front of the windows either side of the central door.another one to me.

Toddy, that's not fair. Richard Bush and I had not moved into the area by then and half your followers would not have been born. Closed 54 years ago! Where was it Toddy?
