Tamworth have released their ticket prices for the upcoming FA cup game against Tottenham.

I’m astonished.

They’ve doubled the normal price & with a normal capacity of just under 5000 it’ll make them a tidy sum
But it’s also live on itv so I’d imagine quite a few will stay at home rather than be exploited by the club

They were never guaranteed a replay anyway.

Sell out crowd and TV money is a great pay day.

Seems crazy to shaft your loyal fans. £150 for a family of 4. Wild

I can see this from both sides. The admission prices they’ve chosen to levy for this game are in line with many PL clubs, so I can see an argument for them to set them at this amount.

In addition, even though the game is in TV the gate receipts will still be split and the total income from the game that they’ll receive is nowhere near that than had they been drawn away.

On the other hand I can see why others will argue that they are ripping people off. I just hope that they have given some discount to their regular, loyal fan base, particularly season ticket holders

Well Spurs made hard work of that!
And last year Tamworth would have made a fortune from the replay
I think that vast majority of fans would still support replays. But the chinless wonders at the FA once again Kow-towed to the Premiership clubs and by doing so excluded many from earning a deserved pay day which would keep many going for years

I personally would have replays from the qualifying rounds to rounds 3 or 4.

From round 5 onwards which I would say will mostly be premier league to championship teams they can have a single one off match like they’re doing now.
