T20 World Cup

Pakistan will probably go and beat India after that.

England were saved by the rain against Scotland as well...

England losing to Oman and/or Namibia probably won't count as a shock.

England having an atrocious World Cup...
This article about Jos Buttler has always stuck in my mind
I suggested I should throw him a few balls and he should play each ball on its merits. He seemed to not quite understand that concept.
He's not a good captain & Mott doesn't appear to be a good coach either. Not a great combo

I'm still not convinced by Mott at all.
Me neither.
I just think that Buttler doesn’t have anything like the captaincy skills of Morgan.
If Plan A fails then we’re in trouble

Afghanistan have just squeezed past Bangladesh to qualify for the semi final at Australia's expense.

South Africa vs Afghanistan
India vs England

South Africa absolutely marmalised Afghanistan by 9 wickets to book their first ever ICC Final place after 7 semi final defeats.

Afghanistan scored 56 a/o off 11.5 overs.
South Africa scored 60/1 off 8.5 overs.

By all accounts, the wicket was a minefield and a disgrace to T20 cricket...

England should be playing India at 3.30pm today. However, it is monsoon season in Guyana and the rain is bucketing down. If the match is abandoned with no result, India will go through by virtue of winning their group.

This semi final has already caused controversy as India knew their date, time and ground for the semis whether they finished 1st or 2nd in their Super 8s group. The BCCI demanded the time slot that was best for an Indian audience and the ICC gave them it. The other three teams were waiting on the outcome of the Super is to know when and where they would play their semi final.

No reserve day - ridiculous.
