The advertising income the site generates is used to cover the hosting & software costs for the site & also the official club site.

Would you be prepared to pay a small annual charge to have no ads on the site?

No - the ads don't bother me

I think you are right Alan. I never look at the damn things so if they generate money for the club and site what is to dislike about them? And with this attitude you don't have to pay to have them removed! Win win situation as far as I am concerned so I would be a no they don't bother me.
