What was a Spud Gun?.
Loved a spud gun..... did exactly what it said..... a gun which fired pieces of potato!

Kids today with all their technology available never knew how much fun they could have shooting their mates with bits of potato!

I’ve always understood that a penny whistle is a basic musical instrument possibly originating from Ireland, and children were rewarded with one penny for playing songs on the whistle, hence why it got “penny” in its name.

Is it a drink sometimes called ‘a black and tan’, where the glass is half filled with pale ale, and then filled up with stout ?
