Who can blame him, I'm sure he'd much prefer to play for a real fan owned club, rather than for people who think they are fan owned.

Players aren't interested in who owns a football club.

They generally just want to play and usually are drawn to a club by the manager or mates of theirs who also play.

I disagree with that. Most know they will get paid from a fan owned club no matter what!

We have had quite a few of our longer term players join as members of the trust too, I'm sure you have the same.
