He was out with an ankle injury according to the pre-match report for Leek.
I assume it's down to that.

He was at the Widnes game in his civvies watching from the stand next to the dug out.

I had a quick chat with him at Widnes and says he has picked up a knock on this ankle, but is hoping to be back soon
