Just seen it on twitter - Michael Ellison has resigned
No further details
 
Bit of a strange one on the face of it. Presumably he also has a day job, perhaps promotion makes it a difficult balance for him?
 
Maybe a better job offer or asking for more money something has obviously gone wrong a fall out why would you just resign after all that hard work of promotion
 
Reasons you’ve suggested may well be plausible, however just playing devils advocate, the task next season provides more of a challenge too surely and coupled with a day job ...... ? Also a plausible reason, sometimes it isn’t always about money?

Point taken it’s just not the manager who has gone though there assistant Crossy has to along with another of the coaching staff
 
Agree with Tez on this, many managers at this level (and all leagues up to the very top of the non league pyramid) will not be on big money and do it more for the love of the game. No idea what's gone on here but maybe he has more important things in life currently and thinks its time to let someone else have a go. Just a thought.
 
You would have expected that he had something else to move onto (which you couldn't blame them for moving onto bigger and better things), but just changing their mind all seems a little strange....
