Details for our trip to Leek below. Note that they do operate a pre-booking system but you can still pay at the turnstiles. Most of the decent pubs appear to be in the centre of town - but at least it is all downhill from there to the ground!

Pinched from Facebook, but no idea why it's Manderin

Great win! Hope it gives the managers and squad a much needed boost they probably deserve after a depressing run. Looks like a proper non-league ground that too.

Fantastic win and performance today. Superb result against a side in 4th chasing promotion, who went into the game on a 13 match unbeaten run and with only one defeat at home all season.

It’s a huge three points and certainly takes some of the pressure off as we go into the remaining games. We’d been on a tough run and that is a big relief and deserved after some improved performances in recent games at Bootle and Marine.

A thoroughly deserved win as well. Thought we were the better side for most of the game. The pitch definitely suited our style of play as should Widnes next week. Joe Woolley - absolute quality. His second goal was an absolute peach! Big big well done to the lads and management. Hopefully we can now carry this into our final games and end the season strongly. Up the 74!

Really enjoyable afternoon- lovely weather, nice journey and smashing ground and pitch. All topped by a really good performance. We were well organised today and two great goals from Joe Woolley. The first an excellent move and the second a brilliant shot.
I have often criticised the left back position so it is only fair I praise Taylor today as he had an tremendous game.
Thoroughly deserved win against one of the play off contenders who had a superb home record. Hopefully it will give us some confidence for Widnes on Saturday as I don’t think it will be easy.

Very pertinent point made by Sir Chubster in the pub tonight. He thought that, given its context, todays win was probably one if not the most important and impressive away league win in our history.

For once, I agree with him! (had to happen sometime!??)

I thought that playing both Sam and Cal on that type of surface was a tactical masterstroke from
Bo and Goody. Just suited their (and our) style of play to a T. No surprise that both had their best game for us for weeks!??
