Graham Cookson

hard to believe. So sorry to hear it - a great supporter of the Vics and then '74

Sorry to hear that Dave.
Played cricket with you both at Barnton many years ago and would bump into you at Vics games down South.
He would have loved todays result.

Thanks Bob and yes he would.

Really sorry to hear that, a really nice guy.

This is a great shock.
I was only talking to him a couple of weeks ago at our home game. He travelled a fair distance to watch 1874. He was looking forward to the cricket season as he was a keen umpire. A great supporter of Vics , and then 1874

Very sad news my friend of 60+ years Graham Cookson died last night of a heart attack.
I was in complete shock when I heard about Graham. Utterly dreadful news. A true Northwicher who gave so much effort to help and support both Vics and 74.

My thoughts are with his family and his friends, and with you Dave. A lifelong friend.

RIP Graham 💚

So, so sorry to hear this awful news. A lovely fella, a Green through and through and a good sportsman to boot. Loved chatting with him over pint before ‘74 games at Barnton CC
