I thought the full backs did ok & DJ in goal c distributed well, was vocal & not at fault for any of the goals

Good to know we still have DJ. He looked good pre-season. His confidence must have got knocked a bit when he was at Ashton so I am glad to know he had a good game last night.

One thing that was interesting was a short switch to 3 at the back.
I wonder if that might work with Fenton, Foulds & Jonah. Koral & Taylor as wing-backs?

It has to be worth a go, loads of fans have mentioned the very same thing, now is the time to try the system ready for next season.

I guess it's would have been tricky to go 3 at the back sooner as we didn't have 3 centre-halves until Matty Fenton stepped up from the U21s
