In the Prem, our landlords secured 3 points in a 1-2 win at Wigan Robin Park.

Linnets got a 1-2 win at Abbey Hey, our pre-season adversaries Congleton won 4-2 at home against AFC Blackpool and Runcorn Town beat Bacup and Rossendale Borough 4-1.

Oldham Boro are currently drawing 2-2 at home to last season's champions, Formby. Fran Smith has just hit a 35 yard screamer - not the first long-range effort in the game either judging by reports on Twitter!

Goes some way to showing the actual strength of Boro in this league and what they're capable of, and on that basis I'd say Saturday's result for us was a very decent one.

Tonight's only fixture in Division One finished Oldham Boro 2-3 Formby. The hosts had led twice! Last season's champions go top for at least 24 hours.

In the Premier Division, Maine Road beat Runcorn Town 2-1.

We will hopefully know more after tomorrows match.

From hot and sunny Switzerland good luck to the boys and hopefully 3 points to put us 'up there'.
