Match abandoned on 90 minutes due to player injury. Score was 2-0.
This is from Counties website results. Abandoning the match after 90 minutes must have been a dreadful injury. Hope the lad is ok.

Yes I agree Richard. Hopefully though given it was abandoned on 90 minutes the league will see sense and award the three points to Stafford too.

Basford v Lancaster in the NPL Premier was likewise abandoned due to a serious injury to a Basford player after 88 minutes with the away side 4-0 up

Apparently one of the Alsager players experienced a seizure and Alsager agreed to finish the game before the final whistle and accept the 2 nil scoreline. A sporting gesture that not every club would have followed. Hopefully the League agrees with this now.

As I know only too well, seizures are not nice. I just hope that it is a one-off (it’s surprising how many people experience one seizure in their life and it’s not linked to anything more serious) and he makes a full recovery 👍

I see Camell Laird won 2-1 yesterday with their goals scored in the 94th and 95th minutes. Luis Davin played the 90 for them. WE were talking about him at Studley yesterday and saying how useful he would be in the run in.

Interesting match ups. Sandbach would provide more of a local opposition for the Mid-Cheshire and Runcorn based clubs.
If Holker win in the North I wonder if the FA might ponder placing them in the Northern League as part of lateral movement 🤔 Probably unlikely but it can’t be ruled out as an option 🤷‍♂️

Squires Gate finish bottom with Colne in the other relegation spot

Counties north - both play-off games went to penalties after 1-1 draws, Droylesden face Euxton Villa in the final
Counties South - Abbey Hulton Utd beat Eccleshal 5-0, Stafford Town defeated Sandbach 5-4
