Chester to move?

Another project that looks like phish and spin. So Chester are going to leave a fantastic ground for a field with a bit of a stand on one side - and that's supposed to be a fabulous £1.6m project? Who is kidding who here? Or is this just Chester developing another site?

Given Chester are on their knees financially, I can't see Chester fans lapping this one up.

This has to be seen in the context of why would Chester FC leave the Deva Stadium (or whatever it is called these days) when they are in receipt of a fantastic support from CWAC in respect of the pitifully small proscribed rental for that stadium. The charge for the whole of the facilities was in the order of £500 per week about 4 years ago. Would that the Council were as supportive financially of other Football Clubs in the CWAC area.
 
In short, Chester are not leaving the Deva stadium, This is a project from The Chester Community Trust, The facility would be used as a training base for the first team and the youth teams would also play there, It's hoped the 3g pitch's will be hires out to local clubs and grassroots football.
