Will they have to jump through the many hoops that 1874 did when they joined the league ? Or will they gain acceptance "on the nod" at an AGM as another Club with a chequered financial history did a few years ago ?
 
Isn't it a 'new' Bury who are applying to the league? I think the winding-up petition against the established Bury was thrown out yesterday or the day before as HMRC withdrew their claim. Having not paid their players there was no liability for unpaid tax!! The 'new' Bury will have no connection to Gigg Lane but if the 'old' Bury still exist then perhaps there will be further developments?
